Guest: Service to mankind is service to God. Remember.
Revatinandana: Is that true, Srila Prabhupada?
Prabhupada: What is that?
Revatinandana: That service to mankind is service God?
Prabhupada: That is nonsense.
Guest: Doctor. For doctor, I mean.
Prabhupada: Well, that is another thing. When doctor gives service to man, he does not give service to the man; he gives service to the money. (laughter)

dear sir, for your information the African witch doctors told the people that the doctors in hospital dont cure the people ,and they dont cure people also, but only God, they were only asking for permission.
And in the Mahabharath the mother of Dhrtarastra and Pandu. Satyavati was helping her father, she did the service, the word in the original text is seva to bring people over the river with a boat,her father (a fisherman) gave her that duty,so she would gain the religious merits born of service to travelers..,the mahabharath a translation from krishna dharma based on the Kolkata edition from Sri Manmatha Dutt.
Authurs note uses as his reference Bhaktivedanta’s translations from the Srimad Bhagavatam.
